Flightcell DZMx - Fire and Flight Events

Spidertracks integration with Flightcell DZMx now supports mapping Fire and Flight events through to our web and mobile applications, and to AFF track sharing. This includes fire events sent via an AFDAU integrated with the DZMx. Tracking over Satellite SMS during voice calls is also now supported. Learn more ⇨

Spidertxt: Status & User in Aircraft List

Flight Followers often need to identify whether a crew member is currently connected to a Spider with the mobile app, and if so, which specific member so they can efficiently message the appropriate person. 

This is now far simpler - We've adding a Spidertxt icon next to any aircraft in the Flying Page aircraft list that has an active Spider that is paired with a user. Hovering over this icon shows the details of the connected user. 

Track Colours (feature toggle)

Track lines have been updated to match the colour of the aircraft icon. The line details (width, opacity) change depending on whether the aircraft is selected or if the aircraft is active/inactive.

Minor Enhancements

• Flying Page status: Aircraft transition to 'inactive' status is now faster and more accurate.
• Flying Page refresh (feature toggle): Refresh interval can now be set to 15s. This will be rolled out to all customers in future. 
• Flying Page refresh performance: Only tracks with changes are updated each refresh, improving performance. 
• Map Zoom precision: The step size when zooming in/out via mouse scroll wheel has been reduced to give more precise control. Note: The zoom step size via map +/- controls are unchanged.
• Aircraft Colours: Have been expanded from 5 options to 12. Support for these new colours is included from mobile release v5.3.x. 
• Aircraft Icons: The Aircraft & Settings page Icons columns now shows the selected icon.
• V-FDR rename to HD (Adaptive): Under Reporting > Report Interval, the option of V-FDR has been renamed to HD (Adaptive). This matches our marketing term of HD Flight Tracking. The behavior is unchanged. 

Bugs Fixed

• Spidertxt web message feed: A bug causing new messages to not automatically display has been fixed.
