Resource Center (+ Account Updates)
We've moved Account management from the top right to the bottom left corner. It now sits in the same Navigation bar as other core navigation controls.
This change is part of introducing a new Resource Center to our solution that brings product support and news directly to where you are working. This will make it easier for Spidertracks to optimise your experience without disrupting your workflow.
- Resource Center content changes depending on which page you are on.
- Notification badges will show you when new announcements are made, and you can now view these when it suits you.
Track Colours
We've changed how we display tracks to improve situational awareness of your fleet and operations;
• Tracks and standard points match the colour of their aircraft icon.
• Active tracks are coloured with a grey border.
• Inactive tracks are grey with a coloured border.
• Any selected track is drawn on top, and other tracks are drawn in order of the Aircraft List
Customise your fleet colour assignments with our recently expanded colour options to optimise map contrast and fleet identification. Learn more ⇨
Enhancements
Spidertxt tagged with sending Spider
Spidertxt Messages sent from mobile app via Spider (all models) will now show in the web client and to other mobile recipients prefixed with the associated aircrafts registration. For example, sending "OPS NORMAL" from the mobile app, via Spider, will be received as "[via N-1234] OPS NORMAL".
The aircraft registration needs to meet format requirements outlined here, otherwise the message will be prefixed with [via spider] instead.
Minor Enhancements
- AFF Engine Events: Automatic Engine On/Off and Takeoff/Landing events detected by Spider X on rotary wing aircraft are now available in our AFF feed (JSON)
- Flight Event icons updates: New icons have been introduced for ROC/ROD/normal and Blocks Off/Blocks On events to make these easily distinguisable from Speed Up/Speed Down and Takeoff/Landing events:
Bug Fixes
- DZMx Flight Log events: Fixed an issue preventing these being shown on tracks and in downloads.
