3rd Party Tracking Data in Spidertracks
Spidertracks now has the ability to receive and show AFF track data from 3rd parties.
This feature enables customers migrating their fleet to Spidertracks to achieve a clean switchover of all flight tracking regardless of any outstanding tracking device changes. To discuss how this feature can support your migration to Spidertracks, please reach out to discuss with our team.
Enhancements
- Flying Page: Selected aircraft is now indicated by the row text being changed to blue with light blue background. This is more consistent with other parts of the user interface, and enables removal of the checkbox to make way for a new feature - watch this space!
- Spidertxt: Enhanced message delivery when multiple devices are logged in with the same account.
- Spider Reporting: ROC/ROD thresholds extended to include 3000 ft/m to support customer request.
- Aircraft Registration: The Registration field now provides feedback on whether the requirements for the upcoming 'Pair by Aircraft Tail' feature to work have been met. Learn more ⇨
Bugs Fixed
- Flying Page: 'Request Location' button in Information Panel is no longer shown for Spider X or DZMx devices. These devices do not support this function.
- Admin: Fixed 'Create new Organisation' page not showing for users that were not a member or Admin of an existing organisation.
- Notifications: Addressed delivery issues in the (rare) case where 5 digit phone numbers have a leading zero. This number format is now supported.
- Flightcell DZMx: Fixed issue where triggering a DZMx SOS resulted in a platform acknowledgement back to the DZMx that was displayed as an unsupported message to the pilot.
- Support: Fixed the help link in password reset emails which was no longer valid. It has been corrected to point to our new support platform (Zendesk).

New Features
Notifications via SMS (feature toggle)
Safety Insights customers can now configure SMS notifications when specific event types have occurred. This closes the feedback loop, enabling potential issues to be investigated and addressed with/by teams in a more timely way, thereby keeping your operation safer.
Enhancements
- Investigations: Links from the Flight Events drilldown table now open the Flight Reports in new tabs. This enables easier comparison of multiple tracks of interest, and also makes it easier to pick up where you left off on the Flight Events table.
Bugs Fixed
- Date selection: Period on first load now matches what is shown in the date selector.
