Release Notes - Mobile v5.0.0

Version 5 of our mobile app delivers simpler oversight of your fleet's status and activity, no matter where you are.

New Features

New 'Home' page

The default view when opening the app is now the 'Home' page. This page contains live tiles summarising the real-time Status of your fleet, along with the Activity for the current and previous days. Filters can be applied based on Aircraft Type and Organisation so the stats can be configured to show only what you need to know. The tiles are linked to views that allow further exploration. Fleet Activity Summary

Activity tiles link to new Timeline and Table summary views to help you get a quick orientation of fleet movements and utilisation for any calendar day. Filter settings for these views are inherited from the Home page for convenience.

The aircraft rows in the Table view link through to History with filters pre-applied. Learn more ⇨

Enhancements

Flying is now Map

This change reflects the mobile dependence on a data connection for the Map to be showing flights in real-time, and that this is not always possible. 

Map Search and Filter

Filters have been introduced to the Home and Maps pages. Any applied filters are made visible and can be touched to remove them for efficient and convenient usage. Learn more ⇨

Updated 'More...' Menu

• Universal icons have been added to assist with navigation.
• The App Keypad has been permanently moved to the 'More...' menu to make space for the 'Home' nav item on all display sizes.
• The Spider connection status is now clearly indicated on this screen. When a Spider is connected, the serial is shown in the same row to surface this detail more conveniently.
• We've added a 'What's New' link to make it easy to get to and read release notes (like these!) for future releases.
