Overview
We’re excited to introduce Mobile version 6.0, bringing key enhancements aligned with what users already love in our web interface—now optimized for the go! The highlights include a powerful new Aircraft panel in Map View and a streamlined Timeline view for tracking Flight Logs, designed to make flight oversight faster, clearer, and more intuitive.
New Features
Aircraft Panel Refresh in Map View. (v6.0.0)
The Map View now includes a dynamic Aircraft panel, offering a richer set of insights right at your fingertips:
Aircraft Status: Easily see whether a craft is airborne (large green dot) or on ground (small green dot). Tap the icon for the timestamp of the last update.
Flight ID: Quickly link to detailed history in our web interface.
Onboard Info: View who is paired to the Spider device—helps streamline communication.
Flight Details (Active): Monitor power-on time, flight duration, current altitude, and speed. Altitude adjusts intelligently—AGL under 1,000 ft, AMSL above.
Flight Details (Inactive): Review historical flight data including date, start/end times, and duration.
ETA: Only available when the aircraft is in motion.
Delayed Tracking Indicator: This is shown by an hourglass icon; tap to see delay since last update.
These enhancements bring parity with our web experience and make mobile oversight as powerful and immediate as possible.
Timeline View (v6.0.0)
Access your Digital Flight Log durations on the go:
Summary View: Available in the updated navigation bar—offers a compact, high-level summary of flight details, mirroring the Aircraft list on our web platform.
Detail View: Expands to show additional Flight Log–related events. This view will later evolve to match the full Flight Explorer timeline currently available on the web.
Supports Spider X, Spider 8 (with wired inputs), and Flightcell DZMx (with wired inputs).
Coming Soon
- Future updates will expand the Timeline Detail view to provide deeper insight, matching our website’s capabilities (Flight Explorer timeline).
- The Aircraft Messaging option in the new navigation options is a placeholder for an exciting new way of messaging within your Flight Operations team.
Bug Fixes
- (No bug fixes in this release — stability and performance remain untouched, focusing purely on new functionality.)
