How to Dim the LEDs on your Spider or Keypad

All Spiders and Keypads support control of LED brightness.

Spider X: How to Dim the Spider and Keypad LEDs 

The Spider X and Spider X keypad both have ambient light sensors built in, and this will automatically dim the LEDs. 

The maximum light level can be adjusted via the Spidertracks Android or iOS mobile apps.      

1. Open the App.

2. Log in with the details that you used to sign up with.

3. Tap More.

4. Tap Spider Connection.

5. Adjust the LED Brightness to your desired preference for both the keypad and Spider X.

The Spider X max LED Brightness to minimum LED Brightness turns both lights on the device off.  

Where as the keypad will still be very dimly lit at minimum brightness.

Spider Models 3-8: How to Dim the Spider and Keypad LEDs 

If you have upgraded to the latest version of Spider firmware, you will be able to dim the LEDs on the keypad of your Spider by pressing and holding the Mark button. After one second the LEDs will start dimming, and will dim down and then light up again.

• Spider 5
• Spider 6

The following Spiders using an external keypad, however pressing and holding the Mark button will cycle the Spider LEDs.

• Spider 4
• Spider 7
• Spider 8

Release the Mark button at the desired brightness applies to all Spiders. The LED brightness is reset every time the power is cycled on the Spider.
