See an event timeline, check where events occurred on a map, and drill into specific parameters with Flight Report.
Flight Reports are accessed from the History page.
Key elements of the flight report include:
1 | Flight timeline | Date, time, Flight ID, aircraft registration and key event timeline. |
2 | Point Information Panel | Specific details for the currently selected flight track position report. This includes position, time, speed, altitude and direction of the aircraft for all points, along with special information for any events that occurred at the same position. |
3 | Navigation slider | Indicates how far through the flight track the current point occurred, and can be dragged to browse quickly through the track. |
4 | Navigation single step | Moves one position report at a time to enable precision control and review. |
5 | Flight parameter chart |
Time series chart displaying flight data parameters for the duration of the flight. The default flight parameters are Altitude AMSL and GPS Speed. |
6. The lower chart in grey is a navigator, this can be used to highlight and zoom in on certain portions of the flight to support more detailed analysis of this data. Default window is 30 minutes.
Note: Resolution of data will depend on the reporting interval set for each spider, e.g. VFDR tracks will display data points for every 15 seconds.
These two GPS parameters sent over iridium will be the default display.
Parameters from Iridium display in user preference units.
When there is no data available to display in the time series chart, the widget will display with the following text: 'This chart is not available for this flight. If this is a recent flight, the data may be currently under processing. Please check back again later'. The most common cause is that a flight is very recent (finished within the last hour) and the data processing is still in progress.
