How can Digital Logs help my business?
Digital Flight Logs provide your business with automated and accurate records of flight events, counts and durations. This feature unlocks opportunities to reduce errors and delays in collecting the data that drives your business. Make the transition to more accurate and efficient pilot records, invoicing and maintenance.
How does it work?
- Spider X devices detect key flight events using onboard sensors. No wiring is needed.
- Flight events are uploaded to the Spidertracks platform in real time.
- Events are processed automatically to summarise counts and duration for your flights.
- Log summaries can be viewed and exported from the History page.

FAQ
Q. Who can use Flight Logs?
A. Flight Logs work with all Spider Xs, however they must be running the latest firmware. For customers with poor cell or a non-supported region, the good news is that Flight Log events are supported over Iridium.
If an update is required and not able to be done over the cell network, customers may need to update manually, please see this article on how to achieve this: Spider X - Updating Firmware.
