Parameters such as roll and pitch are used to create exceedance events. You can define the threshold at which an event is generated for your organization so that the insights we reveal are as relevant as possible to the way you fly.
Configuring Safety Events
1. Select Admin.
2. Select an Organisation.
3. Click Events.
You will now see a table with the available Safety Event types. Each row in the table represents a different type of Safety Event. They will have default thresholds specified that you can tailor to your organization.
Exceedance rules can now be defined with three severity levels:
-
Low
-
Medium
-
High
This allows seamless alignment between the Insights module and formal safety management frameworks. It also enables a more complete picture of your fleet's flight events via low-severity events without the risk of losing visibility of the important medium and high-severity events.
4. Click Add.
5. Add Event Name.
6. Select an Event Type.
7. Enable Severity.
8. Enter the thresholds you want to set for each parameter.
9. Apply to Aircraft.
10. Click Save.
Note: An aircraft can only be added to one event for the same Event type.
If trying to select an aircraft that is already included in an event for the same event type, the aircraft will be unavailable and will be greyed out. Hovering over the greyed aircraft will display a message about why it is not available.
11. The new event rule will be saved and appear in the table.
To Delete an Event
1. Select the Event.
2. Click Delete.
The list of events that you can currently use are:
