Reporting rates can be changed under the Aircraft & Spider Settings.
Aircraft & Spider Settings For The Spider X
- HD (Adaptive) - Spider reports every 15-30 seconds (only available on Spider X and Spider models 6 - 8 as long as they are running the latest firmware).
- Time - Spider reports every 1, 2 or 10 minutes.
Reporting Settings for the Spider X
Selecting reporting will provide you with other options on how you can tailor your tracking experience.
A | Aircraft Registration | Shows how the aircraft name will display on the Flying Page. |
B | Reporting Interval | Allows you to change how often you would like the Spider to report. |
C | Heading Change | Allows changes to the Heading Change. Enabling this setting will send a position report whenever the aircraft bank is at the setup rate. |
D | Rate of Descent (ROD) | Allows changes to the Rate of Descent (ROD). This setting will trigger a point when the aircraft climbs or descends too quickly based on the amount specified. |
E | Rate of Climb (ROC) | Allows changes to the Rate of Climb (ROC). This setting will trigger a point when the aircraft climbs or descends too quickly based on the amount specified. |
F | Speed Threshold | This setting is for users who want to receive Speed Up / Slow Down information. This setting will trigger a Speed Up / Slow Down point on the map when the aircraft reaches or goes below the indicated transition speed. |
G | Automated Watch Threshold | Activates Automated Watch and threshold which it will activate at. |
H | Save | Saves setting selection. |
Aircraft & Spider Settings For The Spider Models 1-5
For legacy Spider settings, if you want to update the reporting settings for Spider models 1 - 5, some reporting features may not be available to you at this stage.
