How Distance Calculated by the Distance Tool

Distance is calculated by measuring the start point latitude, longitude to end point latitude, longitude (and all of the points in between).

For Example, If the first point to the second point = 15 miles and the second point to the third point is 18 miles and the third point to last point is 30 miles, the total track distance = 63 miles.
